You must be at least 18 years old and seeking marriage. One profile per person, one profile per email address. The details you give must be your own and must be true — including your photographs.
Someone with your link may ask to be introduced. You decide, and nothing happens until you do. Once two people have agreed, they may write to each other on Profilyy.
Your profile is free. Browsing is free. Being approved is free.
Your contact channels are never shown to anyone at present; conversations happen on Profilyy.
After an approval you may write to each other on Profilyy. The first message and the first reply are free; sending more is part of membership, and a membership held by either of you opens the conversation for both.
A membership is a single payment, never an auto-renewing subscription. While it runs you can match with as many people as you like, and if the period ends before you have the matches your membership guarantees, it stays active — free — until you do.
Money never buys consent. If someone has not approved you, no amount of money will let you reach them.
While our community grows, some profiles are illustrative examples created by us to show what Profilyy can do. They are not marked individually. They never contact you first, never express interest in you, and never respond on their own. From time to time our staff may operate one, and you may encounter computer-generated (AI) content, imagery or interactions, as part of testing and improving the service. By using Profilyy you accept this, and — to the maximum extent permitted by law — agree not to bring a claim against us for it.
In return, anything involving an illustrative profile counts for nothing against you: it never uses up your membership's match guarantee, so your paid time keeps extending until your guaranteed matches are with real members — and if you made a payment in connection with one, we will compensate you, or refund that payment when you ask. Illustrative profiles are never counted in the membership figures we publish about Profilyy.
If you break these terms — especially if you endanger or deceive another member — we may suspend or delete your account. We will tell you why where we safely can.
If your membership is being held open only by our match guarantee and you have not used Profilyy for 12 months — no sign-in, and no interest shown to anyone — we may close the account. We will email you first.
We promise that your information stays yours: invisible by default, revealed only with your consent, and erased when you ask.
We do not promise that you will meet anyone, and we do not promise a number of introductions or a date by which they will arrive. We would rather say so than sell you a certainty nobody can give.
If we change anything that matters, we will publish the new version here and ask you to agree to it. We record which version you agreed to and when.
